What are the advantages of lasers?

Our lasers provide non-contact marking which gives a high quality, clear and permanent mark every time. Different designs can be quickly and easily selected, 2D matrix codes, logos, serial numbers, oven id, date time etc. can all be easily marked giving complete traceability and legislative compliance.


How safe are the lasers?

The three models are Class 4 laser systems conforming to health and safety requirements for laser based equipment as specified in BSEN/IEC 60825-1: 2007 which conforms to BGV B2 protective housing with 2 channel interlock circuits encompassing automatic detection sensors.


Can I receive a sample?

Simply send us an image of your required mark, preferably in DXF or CorelDraw file format and we will send you a laser marked glass sample. Alternatively if you would like to see the quality of the mark on a particular type of glass send us a sample of your glass together with the image of your required mark.


What maintenance is required?

A simple cleaning routine is generally all that is necessary. As part of the commissioning process our engineer will train your nominated staff.


What are the ongoing costs?

Depending on conditions and usage the laser tube itself will need a re gas every 2-5 years, apart from this the only real ongoing cost is electricity.


How safe is the glass marking fluid?

Our glass marking fluid is non-toxic and non-corrosive. Protective clothing is not required during application.
